Jenell Biggs
As the University of Arizona’s Assistant Vice President of Federal Relations, Jenell works closely with the University’s campus constituency, the Arizona congressional delegation and other stakeholders to advance the priorities of the U of A in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining the University in 2017, Jenell worked on Capitol Hill for four years for Congressman Matt Salmon (AZ), a member of the House Education and Workforce Committee, handling a wide-ranging portfolio of policy issues, including education, agriculture, immigration, science, and healthcare. She spent a year and a half as a missionary in New Caledonia, earned an Associate of Arts degree from Chandler-Gilbert Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University. She was born and raised in the great State of Arizona and is privileged to work on behalf of Arizona in Washington, DC.
