COVID-19 Update

Congress has been actively working on future stimulus packages to address national needs arising from the Covid-19 pandemic. Federal Relations is working closely with the Arizona delegation and relevant committees to highlight areas of critical need including student support and issues facing the federal research enterprise. University of Arizona has also been working closely with the Association of American Universities, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, and other peer institutions to develop best practices in response to the pandemic and to provide recommendations to federal research agencies and the Department of Education regarding related policies and timelines.
