President Robbins joined Governor Doug Ducey on April 14 to announce that the University of Arizona will partner with the state on a COVID-19 antibody testing initiative. This partnership entails the state providing $3.5 million to UArizona to offer COVID-19 antibody testing to Arizona’s healthcare workers and first responders. The announcement comes after President Robbins publicized his goal to offer antibody testing to all 45,000 UArizona students and 15,000 faculty and staff. This initiative highlights UA’s unique position to serve the state by upholding its land grant mission and leveraging our world-renown Health Science enterprise.

“We are proud to partner with the state of Arizona to provide antibody testing to our front-line workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic,” said President Robbins. “As one of the top research institutions in the country, the University of Arizona is ready and poised to provide this service to the state of Arizona and our entire Wildcat family.”
