Headlines

  • We were pleased to see an increase in the number of students testing this week.  

  • Our positivity rate saw a slight uptick to 2.0% over the past 10 days. 

  • As of 9/11, document uploads from fully vaccinated students and employees were: 30,255.  We believe the actual vaccination numbers are higher because uploading vaccination proof is optional. 

  • We currently have students in the covid isolation dorm, but plenty of capacity should it be needed.

  • Over the past 10 days – 158 new cases out of 7,743 tests, 2.0% positivity rate.

  • Of the 7,743 tests administered in the past 10 days, 3,086 have been to off-campus students with a 3.2% positivity rate.

  • On-campus students had a positivity rate 1.6%.

  • Employees – 15 positive employees over the past 10 days, out of 1,888 tests.

The Rt in the 85719 zip code is 1.38.  Pima County’s Rt is .94, and Arizona’s is .92 as of 9/2.   

Note that because recent data are less reliable because test and case data are still be validated, we are currently reporting values using a 5 business day lag.
