FY22 Appropriations

The current Continuing Resolution (CR) keeping the government afloat expires in three weeks on February 18. Rumors are already beginning to swirl that we’ll see another CR before Congress passes regular FY22 appropriations to allow both sides to agree on a topline number for a yearlong omnibus. However, Republicans and Democrats have still not come to an agreement on hot-button policy riders and the Hyde Amendment, which bars the use of federal funds for abortion.
