Arizona's Three Public University Presidents Discuss the Future of Higher Education in Arizona

Last week, University of Arizona President Robbins, along with President Crow (Arizona State University), and President Cruz Rivera (Northern Arizona University), participated in the Greater Phoenix Chamber’s Valley Voices. The event was an opportunity for the three presidents to provide a “The State of Higher Education Address” for their respective institutions. 

During his remarks President Robbins provided an update on UA’s record enrollment growth and commitment to expand the university’s research portfolio. The President also highlighted UA’s role in helping Arizona combat the COVID-19 pandemic and explained how UA will leverage the knowledge gained over the last two years to build on initiatives related to infectious diseases. Additionally, President Robbins discussed the importance of early childhood education and its long-term impact on higher education attainment.
