Circle of Excellence Awards

Community Relations was pleased to finalize another year of successful UA Cares initiatives by accepting two awards from the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona at the 20th Anniversary Circle of Excellence Awards Luncheon. The Circle of Excellence is a celebration that honors outstanding community champions who volunteer their time, talent and resources to help our community. The university was recognized with the Cornerstone Award for our annual workplace giving campaign, which has generated more than $200,000 for local charities through payroll deductions. UA Cares Ambassadors were also publicly thanked for the work they do with Nick Hilton, our Director of Community Relations, to organize this effort.
