Community Engaged Colleagues meet at the Flandrau Planetarium
Community Engaged Colleagues held its first meeting of the year at the U of A Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium on Jan. 15. The monthly gathering brings together university representatives from across campus to learn about outreach initiatives and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
Julie Katsel, assistant vice president for local and community relations, facilitated a productive conversation about how we can continue to build partnerships that benefit both our on- and off-campus community.

The meeting concluded with a tour of the upcoming "Universe of Science" exhibit, guided by Nick Letson, Flandrau's manager of marketing and communications. The hands-on exhibit allows visitors to explore the role of curiosity and scientific discovery through interactive displays and firsthand accounts from scientists.
In attendance were representatives from Admissions, Arizona Institute for Resilience, College of Science, University Communications, Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium, Center for the Philosophy of Freedom, Government & Community Relations, Coit Museum of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Societal Impact, School of Government & Public Policy and Arizona Student Unions.
