The Community Relations team hosted the Campus Community Relations Committee (CCRC) and connected the group with 88 Crime, a local organization housed in the Pima County Attorney’s Office. Babette McDonald is the director of 88 Crime and was our guest speaker who informed neighborhood associations, city and county representatives, and other community leaders how they can utilize an anonymous tip line to promote public safety. The group was pleased to learn that 88 Crime has helped law enforcement make more than 6,000 arrests and remove more than $92.5 million in narcotics off our streets since its founding.
