Julie Katsel welcomes attendees to the Tucson Chamber Business Summit
Community Relations was pleased to help host the Tucson Metro Chamber’s Business Summit in the Student Union. Attended by more than 350 business leaders, this annual event is an opportunity for many campus partners to engage with a cross section of the southern Arizona community. Peter Corrigan, Associate Director of Employer & Alumni Connections, led an outstanding panel discussion about how small-to mid-sized businesses could effectively work with the University to meet workforce needs.
We were pleased to be joined at the UA booth by Betsy Leader, AZPM; Rosie Mankel-Stofenlano, Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium; Jordan Halter, Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum; Emily McCarthy and Pete Corrigan, Student Engagement & Career Development; Kenzie Jackson, Office of Sustainability; John DeLalla, UA Continuing & Professional Education; Jeff Winkleman, School of Government & Public Policy; Alberta Arviso, College of Veterinary Medicine; Nicola Esposito and Jess Turner, Tech Parks Arizona.
