Pinal Partnership hosts legislative recap event

GCR's Jane Hays recently attended the Pinal Partnership's "Partnership Series" breakfast in Eloy, which focused on the recently adjourned legislative session. Pinal Partnership is an organization dedicated to unifying the vision for Pinal County. The sold-out event's panelists included Rep. David Cook (District 7), Rep. Keith Seaman (District 16), Casa Grande Mayor Craig McFarland and Arizona Water Co. Vice President of Water Resources Terri Sue Rossi.
The panelists discussed achievements and disappointments in transportation, affordable housing initiatives, infrastructure developments and water-related legislation affecting Pinal County. Concerns regarding ongoing education and health care issues in rural communities also were raised.
