President Robbins Participates in Greater Phoenix Chamber’s Valley Voices; State of Higher Education Panel

Last week President Robbins participated in a panel discussion with his fellow university Presidents at the Valley Voices event held by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. This annual event provides the three Presidents the opportunity to update education stakeholders and the business community on the state of higher education in Arizona. President Robbins highlighted University of Arizona’s impressive enrollment growth and touted the fact that the 2022 incoming class was the most diverse in university history. When asked how the business community could be a stronger partner to the UA, President Robbins encouraged business leaders to communicate with lawmakers the important role the university system has in developing a strong Arizona workforce.
