Small Business Administration Visits UA

Government & Community Relations welcomed both federal and local leaders to the University of Arizona campus last week to explore innovation and showcase our entrepreneurial training opportunities. Small Business Administration Administrator and member of President Biden’s Cabinet, Isabella Casillas Guzman, joined Tucson Mayor Regina Romero for a tour of student-created business ideas at the McGuire Innovation Expo on the UA mall. There are more than 33 million small businesses in the United States and more than 550,000 in Arizona alone, which is why the University of Arizona is proud to be advancing innovation while preparing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
