Government and Community Relations led the charge to bring UA 4 Food back to campus this year and, thanks to the generosity of our campus community, we were successful in making this the most successful year on record. Volunteers joined us in stuffing one of our 40-foot-long Cat Trans with more than 5,000 pounds of food, which was 2,000 pounds more than our original goal. Members of the campus community also generously provided $1,610.65 to fight food insecurity and our efforts were highlighted by local media multiple times throughout the day. All proceeds from this cause benefit both the Campus Pantry and the Community Food Bank of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
