Campus and community volunteers sort donations during the 2023 UA 4 Food drive in front of Old Main.

UA 4 Food and the Community Relations team recently launched a month-long food drive to combat food insecurity in Tucson. The drive is an annual UA tradition that supports both the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and the Campus Pantry. The drive generated nearly 5,000 pounds of nonperishable food items last year, which in turn helps the Community Food Bank serve visitors across five counties and stocks shelves at the Campus Pantry during a time when donations usually decline.
