UA Recognized for Charitable Giving

The University of Arizona has been nominated for three separate awards to recognize us for our charitable giving campaign known as UA Cares. The campaign runs every fall, and our most recent iteration was the first time Government and Community Relations has led the initiative. We were proud to raise over $200,000 for charitable causes throughout our community, and we look forward to celebrating alongside other nominees at the United Way’s 2022 Circle of Excellence Awards Ceremony on May 12. UA has been nominated for the Best Large Company Award, the Cornerstone Award, and the Champion of Caring Award. A member of the GCR team has also been personally nominated for the Time, Talent, Treasure Award for leading our campaign and expanding our philanthropic impact throughout the community.
