USAF Colonel Mills Visits UA

Government & Community Relations hosted Colonel Scott C. Mills last month. Mills proudly serves as the Commander of the 355^th Wing at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Colonel Mills met with President Robbins to discuss the many ways University of Arizona supports our friends in arms before the colonel attended a series of briefings from campus leaders. Our partnerships on military research, critical language acquisition, training space and resources for military personnel, mental health collaborative opportunities, and partnerships to assist with early childhood education on base were discussed. Colonel Mills also toured the UA VETS Center, which provides support to our veterans here on campus.
