Welcoming visitors and promoting UA attractions

Community Relations is the new university liaison for the Southern Arizona Attractions Alliance, which is a local nonprofit that promotes tourism and visitation to museums and places of interest both on campus and throughout Southern Arizona. The team’s first item of business was to thank and celebrate the efforts of Wendi Rountree from Marketing & Communications, who has previously led this work. The team hosted representatives from the Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum, the UA Bookstore, and university athletics at the 25th anniversary celebration of the alliance where Wendi was recognized with the President’s Star Award.
