President Garimella welcomed by Tucson business community

Community Relations was pleased to see U of A President Suresh Garimella accept the Tucson Metro Chamber's invitation to join its annual State of the Region event on Nov. 13 and participate in a fireside chat with Cox Communications Vice President and Market Leader Lisa Lovallo. Garimella shared his vision for his tenure and took questions about his personal life as he was formally welcomed into the Tucson business community. The fireside chat was followed by a panel of elected officials from Pima County, Tucson, Oro Valley and Sahuarita, who shared updates on community achievements and plans for supporting the regional business community.
