UArizona Hosts Annual Cats at the Capitol Event in Phoenix
State Relations, the University of Arizona Alumni Association, and Associated Students of the University of Arizona jointly hosted the annual Cats at the Capitol event on March 2nd. Cats at the Capitol is an opportunity for the UArizona community to thank legislators and staff for their public service and tout the significant impact the university has on Arizona.
The event brings UArizona to the Capitol with interactive exhibits and booths highlighting our world-class programs and research. Throughout the afternoon over 300 legislators, staff, alumni and students networked and enjoyed the festive environment. President Robbins addressed the crowd and thanked them for their services, he also explained that UArizona is committed to its statewide impact and serving all corners of the state. This impact was on display as several colleges and departments provided the Capitol community the opportunity to learn about the programs offered throughout the state.
