University of Arizona Employee Policy on Political Activity
University employees and DCCs are prohibited from using University resources (including personnel or equipment) to influence the outcome of elections or to advocate support for or opposition to pending or proposed legislation (Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) §15-1633 and Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) Policy 6-905). In addition, recent amendments to A.R.S. §15-1864 provide guidance on when the Universities may take positions on the public policy controversies of the day.
