Arizona Universities to Require COVID-19 Vaccination for Employees, Including Student Workers Oct. 15, 2021 Arizona’s three state universities will require all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to comply with new federal requirements, university officials announced on Friday. The University of Arizona said university employees, including student workers and graduate assistants and associates, have to show proof of full vaccination by Dec. 8 unless they have received a religious or disability accommodation. University of Arizona Launches Program to Work with Tribes on Sustainability Oct. 6, 2021 The University of Arizona will partner with Native American nations to address the environmental challenges faced by those communities, offering expertise in environmental research, renewable technologies, and agriculture through the new Indigenous Resilience Center. "They are the ones identifying their priorities and there are indigenous scientists leading the way with indigenous students involved with the research," said center director Karletta Chief.
